Montfort Community Tribal Hr. Sec. School

Montfort Community School is a gift to the tribal of this hill. This is a model developmental project and beacon of light for those who want to learn and serve. This may be considered as the 8th Wonder of the World.

Three of my children are studying at the Community School. In the beginning, I was worried because there was no one to look after my animals or help me with the small land I have. But today, I am a proud parent seeing my children learn and grow through education. We will never forget Bro. George’s contribution.

Montfort community school has brought much development to the area- the Principal Bro.George brought to the knowledge of the government our deplorable conditions. So, we have roads, transport and electricity. This place would have remained underdeveloped and our people uneducated for many more years. We are grateful to Bro. George’s timely intervention.

Montfort Community School has transformed us all into respectable human beings. The health centre is a great blessing. Brother has made our area well known through this project and other development activities. The practice of child marriage has been abandoned, and the standard of our lives is rapidly improving. Now, we have electricity, communication facilities, transport and postal services. Earlier, no one respected us - we were often sent away when visiting offices. But now, people treat us with respect and listen to our complaints and problems.

I am proud of being a student of Montfort community school. I thank God for the blessing of studying here. After a few years, this village will produce Engineers, Advocates, Leaders, Scientists, IAS and IPS officers. Thanks to Montfort Community School.

When I was brought here, I was grazing animals - But for this school, I would have been married long ago and living in poverty - The credit of our growth and development goes to our principal and the School. This school not only shaped my life - it is now shaping the future of my two children as well.

For me, the community school is my second home; this is the best school in this world… all the students are from the poor villages around the school. I hope to work hard & become a great leader of this country. Thanks to Montfort Community School. I am proud that my three children are being educated by my alma mater.

There were very little facilities in our villages for education and health care before this school came to existence; now we have everything for imparting good education and a wonderful future.

Before I came to this School, I was a cowboy. This community centre has brought development to the entire area. We are grateful to Bro.George, Bro. Antony PJ and their team members. Now, my children are also groomed by my School.

Our parents are poor - we had to walk nearly 22 kms for health and education. Bro.George has helped us with good education and overall development. We have seen here, the faces of many great people.

We are all privileged. I am the only one educated in my family. We are deeply indebted to Bro. George and the school.
